KPM won a remarkable order for Consistency Products to Veracel Celulose S.A., in Brazil.
Kajaani Process Measurements Ltd. supplies consistency transmitters and sampling devices for Veracel Celulose S.A.., a joint venture between Stora Enso Oyj and Aracruz Celulose S.A.. This world class project delivery is a remarkable reference for KPM´s delivery and product performance.
Veracel Celulose S.A.. is building a greenfield bleached eucalyptus (planted) kraft pulp mill in Bahia, Brazil. The mill is planned to start up in May 2005 and will be the largest single-line market pulp mill in the world with production of 900,000 admt/a.
The sampling devices included in the KPM´s delivery represent the latest technology available and are designed to meet the needs of demanding process conditions. For consistency measurements Veracel is going to use shear force technology: KPM’s latest design in rotary and static blade transmitters.
Veracel´s pulp mill represents the highest technology and productivity level in the world. In addition the close cooperation with the international environmental authorities ever since the beginning of the project guarantees that environmental aspects are well taken care of.
The main supplier of the project is Andritz AG, which delivers e.g. the fiberline where to KPM supplies consistency transmitters and pulp sampling devices.
